Destiny Ambassador Scholarship
Purpose
-
To award exemplary students who are role models for their generation
-
To award students who are leaders (demonstrated in their character, moral values and in outstanding results in their domain)

To award students who embody the vision and mission of Destiny International School and who will be positive ambassadors of the school in the community
Benefits

The scholarship covers 50% tuition fee waiver from Year 7 to Year 11
-
The scholarship is renewed annually based on the students exemplary academic results and outstanding leadership character in school
Who is eligible?
-
Malaysian nationals
-
Proficient in English
-
Have done consistently well in internal and external school examinations (at least top 10 in current school)
-
Have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities (including leadership positions in clubs & societies)
-
Demonstrates exemplary character and moral values
-
Possess outstanding leadership skills, and a good influence to peers (refereed by at least 3 teachers)
-
An active contributor in current school, over a period of at least 3 years
How to apply?

Student must have already been offered a place at Destiny International School
-
Obtain the Destiny Ambassador Scholarship Form from the school office
-
Submit official academic transcripts of at least the past 3 years (encouraged to provide transcripts of all schooling to date)

Submit all CCA certificates including leadership positions of at least the past 3 years
-
Other supporting documents, obtained in the past 3 years:
> Academic - outstanding achievements in national & international academic competitions
> Sports – have competed at national level (MSSM)> Performing arts – have obtained a minimum of a Grade 5 certification
> Visual arts - portfolio of work completed and awards obtained
> Any other domain (proof of outstanding performance over the past 3 years) -
Provide at least 3 recommendation letters from teachers, including principal of current / last school (written within the past 3 months)
> Recommendation letter must detail student's character reference letter and contact details of referee. All referees will be contacted.
